Impact of Learning Styles and Satisfaction of Adult Learners on Quality of Life

Abstract
This study is to identify the impact of learning styles and satisfaction of adult learners on quality of life. To this end, subjects for study were 307 adult learners in Gyeongbuk, Daegu over 30s or under 64 years for analysis. The results are as follows. First, the types of learning depending on general characteristics of the subjects, learning satisfaction, and the difference of quality of life appeared significant difference in terms of gender, marital status, and educational background. However, there was not much significant difference in terms of age, religion, occupation, residence, and monthly income. Second, the learning types and satisfaction of adult learners show significant positive correlation with quality of life. Third, from the results of analyzing impact of the learning types and learning satisfaction of adult learners on quality of life, a sub-variable of learning types showed most influential. Reviewing sub-factors of quality of life specifically, school life satisfaction of learners appeared affecting family life considerably. Self-regulation of learning styles appeared that it affects social leisure activities, physical activities, and careers and employment.
